Naomi Judd’s husband Larry Strickland has launched a press release following her passing.
Naomi died on the age of 76 after battling “mental illness,” daughters Wynonna Judd and Ashley Judd introduced Saturday. The precise reason for loss of life of the one half of the long-lasting nation duo The Judds was not disclosed.
In a press release by way of People, the late singer’s husband, Larry, requested privateness for his or her household “during this heartbreaking time.”

Following the announcement, various celebrities paid tribute to Naomi on social media, together with Carrie Underwood, Maren Morris and Rosanna Arquette, amongst many others.
“Country music lost a true legend…sing with the angels, Naomi!!! We’re all sending up prayers for the Judd family today,” Underwood wrote on Twitter.

The Academy of Country Music (ACM) additionally launched a press release saying it was “deeply saddened by the heartbreaking news this afternoon of Naomi Judd’s passing.”
With her daughter Wynonna, the Judds gained the ACM Award for prime vocal duet for seven consecutive years, in addition to the ACM Pioneer Award extra not too long ago.
